Dr. Timothy L. Colbert is a native of Orlando, Florida. Upon graduating from the University of Florida, he attended Veterinary School at Auburn University. In 1974 he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and re-located back to Orlando where he was in practice for 26 years. In April of 2002, Dr. Colbert and his wife, Carol, moved to the Birmingham area to be closer to their five daughters. Upon moving, Dr. Colbert purchased a clinic in the Southside area of Birmingham, Lakeview Pet Wellness Center. In August of 2003, he opened Columbiana Road Pet Wellness Center. Dr. Colbert is a member of AVMA, AAHA, the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce, and the Vestavia Hills Rotary Club. He is actively involved in Hand in Paw, an affiliate of the Delta Society, and he is an officer in the Jefferson County Veterinary Medical Association. He and his family are members at Hunter Street Baptist Church. In his spare time, Dr. Colbert enjoys cycling and flying radio controlled airplanes. |
