Surgical Services: Our large surgical suite allows us to perform of a wide variety of surgical procedures. All procedures performed at our hospital are done on a heated surgery table. Our patients are transferred to a monitored recovery area once surgery is complete. Our patients are never left unattended while recovering.

Anesthesia: We utilize the latest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety for our patients. This is especially important in our senior or high-risk patients. All patients receive electronic anesthetic monitoring of vital parameters such as oxygen saturation, pulse, respiration and blood pressure.

Radiology Services: Our on-site X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders. An automatic film processor allows us to examine X-rays in a matter of minutes.

Laboratory: For wellness testing, our hospital uses an outside laboratory that returns results within 24 hours. That's really fast these days. But what if your pet is sick? We have a full array of laboratory equipment that allows the doctors to have organ function test results, electrolyte levels, complete blood counts, urinalyses and parasite exam results within 15-30 minutes. That's a real benefit that allows us to start appropriate therapy without delay. Naturally, you will be notified of all test results without delay in either case.

Dentistry: Our facility utilizes cutting-edge dental equipment to provide the most up-to-date treatment to ensure the restoration of oral health to your pet. We are pleased to offer the following dental services: teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays and tooth extractions.
We also offer prophylactic home care products along with instructions on their use.

Doggie Day Out: Unsure or uneasy with what your dog does all day while you are away from home or at work? Let us solve your problem! Our facility provides doggie daycare as a service to our clients so your pet will never have to be left alone or uncared for. FREE baths are given to all dogs that play with us Monday - Friday.

Drop-off Services: Columbiana Road Pet Wellness Center is more than willing to do whatever we can to accommodate your busy schedule, thus we are happy to offer you a complimentary drop-off service. Simply bring your pet by our office on your way to work or to run errands and pick him or her up on your way home. We are happy to attend to all of your pet's needs while you are away. As noted above, this service is available free-of-charge to all of our clients. For our clients who do not or can not drive, we offer a pick-up and delivery service of pets.

Individualized Flea Control Programs: We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Microchip Pet Identification: Developed by a veterinarian, the AVID FriendChip is the professional way to identify your pet and it's proven safe and effective. This inexpensive procedure can be done anytime, and best of all, it protects the pet you love for life.

Dietary Counseling: We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance, performance and specific medical problems.

Behavioral Counseling: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, separation anxiety, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression. Our doctors offer advise on puppies and kittens with each visit.

Prescription and Premium Diet Foods: Our hospital stocks a wide variety of foods to meet the ever changing dietary needs of your pet. We carry Science Diet, Eukanuba and Purina brand foods so that your pet has a choice depending upon their specific likes and preferences.

Boarding: We provide veterinary supervised pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff and are exercised three times daily. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday.
